Clean Your Driveways

No matter if you have a short or a long driveway, maintenance is important for all. Do keep in mind to do a close inspection after a particular period of time especially after each snow season. People who own gravel driveways can clean up and rake back any gravel that may be hit by excess snowplowed off.

In blacktop driveways, you should look for cracks and holes. Minor cracks and holes can be repaired easily with special tars available from hardware stores and lumberyards. Occasionally, you can use a coat of blacktop sealer to give a new look to your blacktop driveway. You can also use a concrete mix that can be bought in small sacks from building suppliers, hardware stores and lumberyards. On longer driveways, you need to pay attention on a regular basis by removing surface material along with the snow. Maintain well as driveways add additional beauty to the look of your home.
